Aloe vera soothes the skin and the internal tissues of the digestive tract. It contains 200 biologically active compounds that support the digestion and absorption of food and nourish the intestinal system. NSP Aloe Vera is made from 100% aloe vera concentrate gel to ensure that you get the purest product available.

 Many companies manufacture aloe vera, but most products on the market have lost much of the plant’s original benefits due to over-processing. Beware of aloe vera juice that claims to have no disagreeable taste. Removing this taste can leave you with a product that is only 10–15 percent aloe vera at best.

NSP aloe vera is processed in a special way to avoid the loss of essential vitamins, minerals and other constituents. The leaf is filleted; then the green outer portion that contains aloin is removed, leaving the gel that remains in the leaf. The gel remains thick when the leaf is first cut, but after a few minutes, an enzymatic reaction causes it to become liquid and freely run out. It is this 100 percent pure liquid that NSP collects. To prevent bacterial contamination, we add sodium benzoate as a preservative. Sodium benzoate is effective in very small quantities, and it properly and safely preserves aloe vera juice.

How it works

Aloe vera is a nutritional storehouse, containing vitamins B1, B2, B6, C, niacinamide, choline and 18 amino acids. It also contains salicylate and prostaglandins. Aloe nutritionally benefits the intestinal system.

NSP aloe vera is carefully processed to avoid the loss of essential vitamins and minerals. Each leaf is filleted open, and the bitter outer leaf is removed, leaving only the aloe gel. After a few minutes, the gel turns to liquid.

Ingredients:

• Aloe Vera Juice contains 100% aloe vera concentrate gel with ascorbic acid, citric acid and sodium benzoate added as preservatives.

• Whole Leaf Aloe Vera contains 30 ml Aloe barbadensis per 1 oz. serving along with potassium sorbate and sodium benzoate (as preservatives).

• Aloe Vera freeze-dried capsules contain 150 mg aloe vera concentrate gel.

• Aloe Vera Gel contains 97.35% aloe vera gel with xanthan gum, citric acid, potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate and carrageenan.

Recommended use

• Aloe Vera Juice: Drink 2–6 oz. daily as is or mixed with water or juice.

• Whole Leaf Aloe Vera: Mix 1 oz. Whole Leaf Aloe Vera with 8 oz. pure water or fruit or vegetable juice.

• Whole Leaf Aloe Vera can be used directly from the bottle for use on the skin.

• Aloe Vera freeze-dried capsules: Take 1 or 2 capsules with a meal three times daily.

• Aloe Vera Gel: Apply Aloe Vera Gel to the skin to achieve the moisturizing effect desired.
